Petit Four with Almond in the form of Horseshoe cake






Ingrédients



- The Dough: 


    • 600 gr of flour
    • 70g of butter 
    • 4 large tablespoons of blossom water
    • 2 teaspoons of sugar with a pinch of salt 
    • little warm water 




- Stuffing: 


    • 500 gr of almond 
    • 250g of caster sugar 
    • 4 tablespoons of melted butter 
    • 2 tablespoons of blossom water
    • 4 pieces of gum arabic 
    • 1 teaspoon of almond extract

-Decoration: 


    • 100 grams of crushed almond

  • The Dough : 
Grind almonds after being peeled and fried, add powdered sugar, powdered gum arabic, blossom water, butter and almond extract, mix well, then prepare small beads (10 cm long and 2 cm wide) and put them aside.

  • The Stuffing : 
In a bowl place the flour, sugar, butter and flower water, a pinch of salt, mix with warm water to soften the whole, make small balls then go in the special robot to make them in sheet form, cut as a rectangle 10cm long and 2cm wide, put almond fingers in the middle of the dough, fold the dough in the form of a horseshoe (see the photo), coat it ends in the crushed almonds and cook for 15 minutes.
